NuShield Provides Protection During Flu Season

We are in the midst of conquering the Covid 19 virus, but it is also the time when the flu virus visits Northern America. People are heading back to work and attending events in large numbers again. However, the masks are gone in most cases and people have returned to the annual Fall sport of “spreading germs”.  If you are over 60, have a smaller child or have a medical condition your immune system is already compromised and you are more susceptible to getting sick. Hopefully, you had a flu shot or planning to do so which makes your chances of having a bad case, even if you catch the flu might be somewhat lesser.

New York City Subway System Implementing NuShield Display Protectors

The New York City Subway system has been implementing the upgrade of motormen controls with the special NuShield screen protector films to help reduce glare and provide protection against vandalism. Over the past two years subway cars have been outfitted with a special thicker NuShield film that still provides touch control, but also protects the display from damage from hits with objects other than fingers.

Its only August, but some kids are turning their attention to going back to school.  Some districts and colleges start before Labor Day and the drudgery of shopping has begun.  Many parents and students are looking forward to heading back to the classroom after a year of virtual education. But this means its time to go shopping for new clothes and shoes. And students today are equipped with electronics. No one uses notebooks, pencils, pens or erasers these days. Baseball Season to Begin with Caution in 2021

Looks like the 2021 baseball season will be starting a month later than usual if baseball executives have their way.  A proposal is currently on the table that would limit the season to 154 games instead of 160 and expand postseason expansion. So instead of the current April 1 start, opening day would be pushed back to May 1 or later.
